Never let a
priority request take longer than 60 days
to go from identification to delivery.

Technology is
not the driver.
Give me a single person that understands the problem, can carry on a
meaningful dialogue with a customer, and has an ability to learn the
appropriate process or technology and that person will deliver in a
fraction of the time it takes a team of technologists.

Leaders need
to know and check details.
They must use the power of the inspection. Much like an officer
inspects unit readiness, a leader must be able to personally inspect
a solution to ensure sound approach at the beginning of the
project. They must then be able to check details throughout the
project. A key to our leadership approach is that we combine
project manager and technical lead. If a manager needs a technical
lead, they are not qualified to lead a technical project. If a
technician needs a leader they are not qualified to lead a technical
project. This staffing mistake is very prevalent causing increased
cost, indecision, and delay.
